A webinar was held
On March 10, 2022, at Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan was organized a webinar by the UNESCO Almaty Cluster Office in cooperation with Al-Farabi KazNU. The webinar was dedicated to Massive Open Online Courses on journalism as part of the IPDC project. The professors and the students of Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and International University for the Humanities and Development participated in the event.
The participants made crucial speeches about the validation of Massive Open Online Courses platforms within the framework of the IPDC Journalism Education and Training Platform project and the UNESCO/IPDC courses for the application of international standards in the field of quality journalism education. As it is known, on October 24, 2021 a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. Holding the webinar within the framework of the Memorandum gave a great opportunity to exchange ideas about further improving the education of the students in the sphere of international journalism.
During the event, the several interesting questions were asked by the students, and which added constructively to the efficiency of the webinar.
