VISIT OF YOUNG IRANIAN DIPLOMATS TO THE INSTITUTE
On June 12, 2026, a study visit was organized at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan for a delegation of young diplomats from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran. During the visit, the Iranian guests got acquaintance with the daily operations, educational curricula and modern conditions created for students at the national school of Turkmen diplomacy, which specializes in training future diplomatic personnel for the country.
The delegation visited the Museum of the History of Turkmen Diplomacy, the UNESCO Club “Culture of Peace”, specialized educational studio of the institute.
It is worth noting that alongside German, French, Japanese, Chinese and Arabic, the Persian language is studied in depth at the institute as a second foreign language. In this regard, the Iranian guests were welcomed with particular warmth by the students of the Persian language department. Throughout the visit, the young Iranian diplomats highly commended the advanced level of language proficiency and academic training demonstrated by the future specialists of international relations.
During the visit, the sides highlighted the historical significance of the friendly and good-neighborly relations between Turkmenistan and the Islamic Republic of Iran. Additionally, the participants emphasized that continuing regular exchanges of experience among young diplomats is mutually beneficial and serves to strengthen bilateral humanitarian ties.
