A Contest on the Theme "Clean City – Green City" Organized by the “EcoClub”
On November 21, 2024, a contest entitled "Clean City – Green City" was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The event was organized by the "EcoClub" of the Department of World Languages of the Institute. Students from four faculties: the Faculty of International Relations, the Faculty of International Law, the Faculty of International Economic Relations, and the Faculty of International Journalism participated in the competition.
The contest consisted of three stages. Teams were tasked with presenting a presentation on the theme "Clean City – Green City," answering quiz questions, and delivering a speech on prepared presentation on the topic "My Dream City." The competition was conducted in English.
Based on the results of all stages, the victory was awarded to the students of the Faculty of International Economic Relations. All teams received Certificates of Honor from the Institute and memorable gifts prepared by the Central Council of the Magtymguly Youth Organization of Turkmenistan.
The organization of such contests contributes to the development of creativity and language skills of the students and increases their awareness in the field of environmental issues.
