Young SDG Ambassadors conduct training sessions
In accordance with the curriculum approved for the promotion of the Sustainable Development Goals among the youth on January 28, 2021, a training session has been conducted with participation of Young SDG ambassadors (S. Rahimov, M. Hojamyradov), as well as students of the specialized school No.21. During the course, in-depth introductory speeches on Sustainable Development Goals, and their interrelationships have been made, as well as questions and answers sessions, including various games in English have been organized. Particular attention has been paid to Sustainable Development Goal 6, Clean Water and Sanitation for all. As is known, recognizing the growing challenge of water scarcity the UN General Assembly launched the Water Action Decade on 22 March 2018, to mobilize action that will help transform how we manage water. In this connection, the importance of protecting and restoring water-related ecosystems, including mountains, forests, wetlands, rivers and lakes, as well as participation of each citizen in improving water management has been highlighted.
