NEXT ROUND OF SHORT TERM COURSES ON DIPLOMATIC PROTOCOL BEGINS
On 5 October 2026, the next round of short-term courses began at the specialised Diplomatic Protocol Training Centre of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The classes will focus on the principles of diplomatic protocol and the rules of international etiquette. Participants will also discuss the specifics of organising official visits, meetings and international events, as well as issues related to the role of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality in its foreign policy.
The classes will be taught by specialists with extensive experience in diplomacy and the Institute’s faculty members. Combining theoretical knowledge with practical examples will enable participants to learn how to apply protocol rules correctly in their professional activities and observe the principles of decorum in official interactions.
The courses are important for modernising the country’s protocol service, improving the training of specialists and ensuring a high standard of organisation for events held as part of international cooperation. Training in this field will help enhance the effectiveness of diplomatic work.
Thanks to the initiatives of our Hero Arkadag and the wise leadership of our esteemed President, extensive opportunities are being created to improve the professional qualifications of our country’s diplomatic personnel. Such courses enrich the knowledge of specialists implementing Turkmenistan’s foreign policy, which is based on peace, mutual trust and cooperation.
