The Third Stage of the Specialized Training Center Called “Diplomatic Protocol” Has Started
On September 2, 2024, the third stage of the Specialized Training Center “Diplomatic Protocol” was launched at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. This is another clear statement of the positive results of the important decisions taken on the expansion of Turkmenistan’s diplomatic participation in world affairs under the leadership of the National Leader of the Turkmen people Hero Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar, as well as the training and strengthening of specialists of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
As we know, diplomatic protocol is a set of rules, traditions and conditions observed by governments, foreign policy agencies, diplomatic missions and other official persons in international relations. The rules of the protocol are based on the principle of so-called «international comity». In this regard, it is necessary to improve the system of training of high-level diplomats who can represent the interests of our country in the world in accordance with international standards. Thus, the operation of the Specialized Training Center «Diplomatic Protocol» at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs increases the research and intellectual capabilities of this leading higher educational school of Turkmenistan. As far as we know, this specialized training center was opened on February 18 of this year – on the Day of the Diplomatic Workers of Turkmenistan, with the participation of the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov, as well as several high-ranking guests.
As we know, on March 1, 2024, the first stage of this Specialized Training Center was launched. During two months, the participants attended the lessons based on the scientific and long-term experience of the leaders of the missions of foreign countries and international organizations in our country, representatives of the national diplomatic service, and mentor diplomats. This clearly shows that diplomacy plays a crucial role in the modern world, which is considered an important tool for strengthening peace and solving emerging problems, conflicts, and strengthening trust, and in this regard, training high-level specialists in this field is of particular importance.
Special certificates of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will be awarded to specialists who have entered the short-term courses at the third stage of the Specialized Training Center called “Diplomatic Protocol.” They express their sincere gratitude to the National Leader of the Turkmen people Hero Arkadag, and our Hero Arkadagly Serdar, for paying special attention to the issues of improving the work of the diplomatic service of the country, and assure that they will spare no effort in successfully solving the tasks set in the future.
