30 YEARS OF FRUITFUL COOPERATION
On March 25th, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan hosted a meeting of students of the Faculty of International Journalism with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation in Turkmenistan Alexander Blokhin, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the countries. The event was attended by students of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The event began with the greeting speech from the Senior Researcher of the Research Center for Strategic Studies of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Bekdurdy Amansaryev.
During the meeting, the students asked the ambassador their questions and received detailed answers. The topics of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation in the socio-economic, educational and cultural spheres were discussed at the meeting.
The consistent holding of such meetings is another clear evidence of the strengthening of close bilateral relations between Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation. Also, it is important to emphasize the accumulation of invaluable experience for students by communicating with high-ranking officials representing their country in the international arena and have many years of experience in the field of diplomacy.
