The art of oratory is the basis of leadership
On May 24, 2023, at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, with the organization of the scientific circle “Wisdom and Reason” of the Department of Social Sciences, the UNESCO club and the Student Council, a competition was held under the name “The art of oratory is the basis of leadership”. The students and a jury team of teachers from the Intitute os International Relations of the MFA of Turkmenistan attended to the competition.
Under the subject of the competition, the participants chose a specific topic and made a presentation in front of an audience of students and judges for 5 minutes. Participants were judged on the persuasiveness of their presentations. The results of the competition were summed up by an objective vote of the student audience and judges. The winner of the competition was the 1st year student of the faculty of International Journalism of the Institute of International Relations of the MFA of Turkmenistan Kakageldi Akmyradov.
Such competitions provide an excellent opportunity for students to develop their creativity, as well as learn new points of view and solutions related to a particular problem. This competition helps to strengthen the persuasive and diplomatic skills as future career of international professionals.
