FOREIGN LANGUAGES AS A GATE TO THE WORLD
On February 1, 2021, an awarding ceremony of winners of the Internet Olympiad in the Chinese language held on December 1-5, 2020, at the International University for the Humanities and Development was held in the conference hall of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The winners, Rustem Gurbanov, third-year student of the Faculty of International Journalism, Didar Islamov, first-year student of the same Faculty, and Dovlet Garajayev, third-year student of the Faculty of International Law were presented letters of commendation and souvenirs. The ceremony was attended by the faculty members and students of the Institute.
During the ceremony, Begench Matliyev, Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs of the Institute of International Relations of the MFA of Turkmenistan, spoke about the implementation of the Concept for the Improvement of Teaching Foreign Languages in Turkmenistan, approved by the Decree of the President, and asked young people to enhance their knowledge of foreign languages, congratulated students and wished them success in their future participation in such subject Olympiads.
At the end of the ceremony, the students wished the President well-being and thanked for the conditions created to study foreign languages.
