Peace Philosophy of the Foreign Policy
On February 22, 2022, the Secretariat of the National Commission of Turkmenistan for UNESCO organized an online meeting, dedicated to the new philosophy of modern international relations entitled “Dialogue – a guarantee of peace”, put forward by President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. The meeting was attended by the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan, the Central Council of the Magtymguly Youth Organization of Turkmenistan, the Board of the Peace Foundation of Turkmenistan, the Central Council of the Union of Women of Turkmenistan, the National Center of Trade Unions of Turkmenistan, the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan.
The meeting was attended by Rustemova Ch., Executive Secretary of the National Commission of Turkmenistan for UNESCO, Sariyeva M., Chairperson of the Board of the Peace Foundation of Turkmenistan, Ovezberdiyev Y., Chairman of the Central Youth Council, Magtymguliyeva G., Head of the Department of Intangible Cultural Heritage of the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan, and Amanmyradov K., Director of the Historical Department of the Institute of History and Archeology of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan.
As noted in his speeches, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov aims to consolidate the culture of peace and trust between the states through the common initiative “Dialogue – a guarantee of peace”, joining efforts to achieve sustainable development goals. As a neutral state, Turkmenistan plays an important role in ensuring peace, security and stability in the region and the world, pursues an active foreign policy to expand friendly relations with all countries of the world for common good and prosperity.
It is also important to note that during the meeting, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov’s new book “Bright Path to Prosperity”, which contains views on foreign policy, economy, culture, science as well as valuable suggestions made for the future prosperity of our country.
At the end of the meeting, the participants congratulated our Hero Arkadag on awarding him the title of “Turkmenistany ussat diplomaty” (Honoured Diplomat of Turkmenistan) and thanked the National Leader for his great efforts to achieve peace in the world.
