The First Day of the Training Seminar for Diplomats
Currently, active cooperation in the political, diplomatic, trade, economic, cultural, scientific and educational spheres between Turkmenistan and the United Arab Emirates is one of the priority areas of bilateral relations of two countries. In particular, the relations between the countries in the field of education are reaching a new level every year. The proof of this is the cooperation between the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the Diplomatic Academy named after Anwar Gargash of the UAE. On November 20, 2023, a special group of teachers and students of the Institute began training sessions at the Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy.
On the first day of the visit, the students got acquainted with the diplomatic academy and the activities carried out there. Professor Diana Francis from the Khalifa University of Science and Technology, UAE, gave a lecture on climate change, one of the global problems in the world, its current situation and issues that will be discussed at the COP-28 conference, which will be held in Dubai on December 12 this year. During the seminar, the students were divided into groups and exchanged questions about the future consequences of air pollution for humanity. The study tour is currently underway.
