Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan hosted a meeting with British Council Representatives for Central Asia and Uzbekistan
On November 12, 2024, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan hosted a meeting with representatives from the British Council for Uzbekistan and Central Asia. The meeting wa attended by the Vice-Rector for Scientific Work B.Matliev, Senior Lecturer in International Relations and Diplomacy M. Berdiniyazov, Head of the Department of World Languages M. Atajanova, Director of the British Council for Uzbekistan and Central Asia Denis Waddingham, English language expert, representative of University of Norwich Wendy Coulson and the Head of the Political Department of the British Embassy in Turkmenistan Myrat Kakajykow.
During the meeting, the Vice-rector of the institute gave a speech about the training methods of young international specialists, active scientific and training centers, and scientific research in the fields of diplomacy and international relations at our institute as well as the priority areas of Turkmen-British scientific-educational cooperation.
At the meeting, there was a discussion in the areas of the further expansion of scientific-educational cooperation between the Turkmen National School of Diplomacy and higher educational institutions of the Great Britain, as well as a mutual exchange of ideas in this field.
Organization of this meeting will contribute to the mutual sharing of experiences in the sciences of diplomacy and international relations in order to further expand cooperation and increase the professional training of future international specialists in this field.
