Interesting excursion for Young diplomats
On May 16, 2022, with participations of the members of School of Young diplomats of the Institute of International relations of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan an interesting excursion was organized to the United Nations Regional Center For Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia (UNRCCA), established in 2007. The headquarter of this unique structure is located in Ashgabat. The members of School of Young diplomats got acquaintance with the valuable information of the experience of Turkmenistan and activities of the United Nations Regional Center For Preventive Diplomacy, its work on effective development and implementation of preventive diplomacy and its cooperation in ensuring regional peace and security.
Turkmenistan actively supports the work and initiatives of this Center, which has done a lot since its inception, in particular, in promoting political-diplomatic, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian interaction between the states of the region and neighbouring countries.
Opening of this Center in our capital proves that preventive diplomacy is an integral part of Turkmenistan’s Neutrality. At the end of the excursion, young diplomats expressed their gratitude to our esteemed President for providing such opportunities to reveal the abilities, share the experiences and bring up youth of our country in patriotic spirits.
