    Contest Dedicated to the 79th Anniversary of Foundation of the United Nations

    On October 25, 2024, on the occasion of the UN Day, a brain-ring competition was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, in which the students and masters of all faculties actively participated in. The competition was organized by the "Young Lawyers" scientific organization of the Department of International Law and Comparative Law studies of the Faculty of International Law.
    79 years has passed since the establishment of the United Nations. As a neutral state twice recognized by this prestigious organization, Turkmenistan conducts an active policy in the international space and maintains effective relations with the UN and its specialized agencies for many years. Accordingly, this highly organized competition is aimed at increasing the knowledge of the United Nations Organization and its main areas of work, which plays a key role in coordinating relations between all subjects of international law in international relations, ensuring global peace and security.
    Teams named "Diplomacy", "Jurissia", "Calcussia" and "Pressia" participated in the competition, and 8 students and masters in each of them. The participants answered questions related to the United Nations Organization, they competed to memorize the national symbols and capitals of the world countries, and answered a questionnaire related to the foreign policy of individual countries related to the UN. The fact that the groups were able to comprehensively express the positions of their countries as participants in international relations related to the given event enriched the experience of future internationalists.
    Certificates and souvenirs were awarded to the winners.
