A WALL NEWSPAPER COMPETITION WAS HELD
On September 26, 2025, a wall newspaper competition was held among students at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The event was organized within the framework of the action plan of the student scientific club “Young Lawyers” of the Department of International Law and Comparative Jurisprudence, in cooperation with the Council of Young Scientists of the Institute.
Student teams competed in creating the best informational materials on the common theme “Road Safety – Peace of Our Lives.”
The submitted works thoroughly covered the provisions of the Law of Turkmenistan “On Road Traffic Safety” of March 31, 2012. Special attention was given to defining the legal foundations of road safety, regulating relations in this field, and ensuring the protection of the lives, health and the environment.
As is well known, on September 1, 2025, the annual road traffic safety campaign was launched across Turkmenistan under the motto “Road Safety – Peace of Our Lives.” This marks the twelfth year of the nationwide initiative, which was first introduced in 2013 by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Hero-Arkadag. The campaign continues successfully under the leadership of the esteemed President of Turkmenistan, Arkadagly Hero Serdar.
As part of the campaign, conferences, seminars and educational events are being held in ministries, agencies, schools, universities, and enterprises throughout the country to raise awareness of traffic rules among youth, drivers, and pedestrians.
In the Era of Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State, the campaign “Road Safety – Peace of Our Lives” acquires special significance, reflecting the priorities of our state policy. We express our sincere and deep gratitude to the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero-Arkadag, and to the esteemed President, Arkadagly Hero Serdar, for their tireless care for the health and well-being of society, as well as for their far-reaching efforts to ensure the safety of our roads, which guarantees peace of mind and confidence in the future.
