EXPRESSIVE READING COMPETITION “ BERK BINÝATLY WATANYM”
On June 3, 2025, the “Lingvo World” Scientific Club of the Department of
World Languages of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of
Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan hosted an expressive reading competition entitled
“ Berk binýatly Watanym” dedicated to the The Constitution of Turkmenistan .
As part of the completion, students of the institute and members of the club made
presentations. Their presentations covered topics related to the peculiarities,
achievements and cultural values of Turkmenistan, their role in diplomacy, as well
as the development of cooperation with countries such as China, France, Germany,
Turkey, Iran and Japan. Additionally, the students demonstrated their language
skills by expressively reading extracts in English, German, French and Chinese.
The competition included a thematic quiz, where students independently
created their own range of questions by choosing from the provided categories.
The content of the questions was focused on the book of our Hero Arkadag
“ Türkmenistan – Bitaraplygyň mekany “, which helped the participants gain
comprehensive knowledge about this book as well as students gained general
knowledge about this book through self-selected questions. Following the results
of the competition, all participants were declared winners.
The teachers of the Department of World Languages of the Institute wished the
students good luck and success in their studies, and encouraged the students to
participate in such an intellectual competition in order to broaden their horizons.
At the end of the competition, all participants expressed their sincere gratitude
to our Hero-Arkadag and our esteemed President for their great efforts for
students to create favorable conditions that allow students to realize their creative
potential and achieve high educational results.
