GIFT OF THE PRESIDENT ON THE OCCASION OF INDEPENDENCE
On September 29, 2021, the Institute of International Relations, organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, hosted a presentation of the new book of our esteemed President “Independence - Our Happiness”. The presentation of the new book was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, researchers from the Institute of State, Law and Democracy of Turkmenistan, professors and students of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, as well as representatives of local and foreign media.
During the ceremony, the content, scientific and educational significance of the new work of our President, which was presented to our people on the occasion of the glorious 30th anniversary of the sacred Independence Day, was widely discussed.
At the presentation, the rector of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Ph.D. in Historical Sciences, J. Gurbangeldiyev emphasized the historical significance of the book by the President and its value as an encyclopedic work. In his memoirs, he noted that the path of Independence of the State of Turkmenistan stems from the principle of statehood of the Turkmen people. In particular, he noted that Independence and Neutrality are the double wings of the state, the valuable scientific ideas put forward by our esteemed President on the foreign policy of Turkmenistan, which originates from them. He stressed that this valuable work will become a guide book for students majoring in international studies and will serve as a major source of research.
Speaking at the ceremony, the director of the Institute of State, Law and Democracy of Turkmenistan, Doctor of Law, Y. Nuriyev noted that the book “Independence is our happiness” inspires people to creativity, consists of 13 chapters and also noted that achievements gained during 30 years are reflected in the book. The legislative acts which are at the heart of independence, as well as the transition to the bicameral parliament of Turkmenistan once again proves that the state belongs to the people, All these the views of the President were conveyed to the participants of the ceremony.
Representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary N. Amanmuradov underlined the value of the President’s book to the students and told about the achievements of the country since independence, comparing with the period before the independence. As pointed out in the book by the President, every achievement is due to the hard work of our people. He emphasized that the key point was to explain to the youth that the country had to overcome many difficulties during the 30 years of independence.
During the ceremony, G. Chopanova, lecturer at the Department of World Languages of the Institute, and A. Annaliyeva, Research Fellow of the Department of Democracy and International Relations at the Institute of State, Law and Democracy of Turkmenistan, described the President’s book “Independence - Our Happiness” and conveyed its content to the ceremony participants. Speaking at the conference, G. Atdayeva, second-year student of the Institute, said that the youth is facing great tasks and that every task should be taken responsibly. She assured that the President’s book would become a guide book and a scientific source for young people.
At the end of the presentation, the participants wished esteemed President, Arkadag, who raised the prestige of our stable Motherland in the world, wished اhim strong health, long life, great success and prosperity to the country.
