SCIENTIFIC ACHIEVEMENTS OF TALENTED STUDENTS IN THE FIELD OF ECOLOGY
On March 12, 2026, an open online Olympiad in the subject “Ecology and Environmental Protection” was held among students of higher educational institutions at Myrat Garryyev State Medical University of Turkmenistan.
This competition was organized with the aim of implementing the initiatives of the President of Turkmenistan to develop the digital education system in the country and to improve the teaching of subjects related to natural and exact sciences. The Olympiad, conducted using digital information and communication technologies, brought together talented students from 24 higher educational institutions across the country.
Students from the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan also achieved outstanding success in this prestigious academic competition. A third-year students Davut Gezerov of the Faculty of International Economic Relations and Sahydovlet Hummetjumayev of the Faculty of International Relations demonstrated a high level of knowledge and were awarded the first place.
Additionally, a fourth-year student Hudayberdi Rozykov of the Faculty of International Relations showed active participation and was awarded a Certificate of Honor.
These achievements clearly demonstrate the strong interest and solid academic preparation of future specialists of the country in the field of environmental protection and ecological issues.
