Training course held in accordance with the specially approved curriculum for transport diplomacy
At present, transport diplomacy is one of the main areas of the Foreign Policy Concept of Turkmenistan for 2017-2023. In accordance with the specially approved curriculum for transport diplomacy, elective courses are regularly conducted at the Training Center for the Priority Areas of Diplomacy of Turkmenistan at the Institute of International Relations of Turkmenistan, established on the initiative of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. Members of the Turkmen Logistics Association take part in the courses. At the end of the courses, students usually prepare reviews on speeches and presentations made by speakers.
On November 12, 2021, within the Training Course on Transport Diplomacy of the Educational Center for the Priority Areas of Diplomacy of Turkmenistan of the Institute, Ella Amanova, a specialist of the “Merjen Yol” Economic Association, gave a lecture under the title “Significance of the Four-Sided Intergovernmental Agreement on the Implementation of the Transport Corridor Caspian Sea – Black Sea”. She also organized a debate on this topic among students. The students of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan actively participated in the course and exchanged opinions on the issue of transport diplomacy. The workshop was very effective.
