Our sports pride
The development of high-level sports and the mass sports movement in Turkmenistan, as well as the implementation of a wide range of measures to promote a healthy lifestyle, are at the center of attention of the state policy of the esteemed President. This is clearly evidenced by the fact that Turkmen athletes successfully compete in national and international competitions and win prizes. Eurasian Ashihara Karate Championship, which was held in Istanbul (Turkey) on May 4 – 7, ended up with nine medals I collection of Turkmenistan national team. One of these young athletes is Nazargylyjova Durdane, the 2nd year student of the Faculty of International Economic Relations of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. She took 1st place (gold medal) in the weight category up to 65 kilograms. This achievement filled our hearts with joy and pride for our course mate. We wish her great success in the sports.
