The Consecutive Successes of Our Students
The VI Open International Olympiad in Mathematics (OMOUS-2026), held at the International University for the Humanities and Development from March 23 to 28, 2026, has successfully concluded. Over 600 students from 9 countries of the world (Russia, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Iran, UAE, Germany, Greece, Hungary, and the Netherlands) participated in this international competition, which lasted for five days, and showcased their talents and abilities.
The students of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan also made a worthy contribution to the achievements of the Turkmen students representing our country. The student team, under the mentorship of Gaplan Esenamanov, senior lecturer of the Faculty of International Economic Relations of our Institute, Candidate of Physical and Mathematics Sciences actively participated in this prestigious competition and once again managed to win prize-winning places.
According to the results of the competition, Gochmyrat Penjiyev, a student of the Faculty of International Economic Relations of our Institute, was awarded 1st place (gold medal), showing a high result. Furthermore, students of this faculty Orazmyrat Sahetmyradov and Dovlet Kerimov won 2nd places (silver medals), and our talented student Bagul Hudayberdiyeva won 3rd place (bronze medal). These results clearly testify that the students of our Institute have a high level of preparation not only in the humanities but also in the exact sciences.
