The conference held under the title «Public Policy in the field of Science, Education and Innovation in Turkmenistan»
On February 29, 2024, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan hosted a conference «State Policy in the field of Science, Education and Innovation in Turkmenistan», dedicated to the results of the issues discussed at the meeting of the Presidium of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan, held on February 22, 2024 at the Palace of Congresses under the chairmanship of the Leader of the Turkmen Nation, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
The conference took part Director of the Department of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan Annasapar Kichiev, Deputy Director of the Institute of History and Archeology of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan Khan-Durdy Gurbanov, senior teachers of the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Doctor of Sociological Sciences Ovezdurdy Muhammetberdyev, Candidate of Philosophy Begench Karaev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan Nurberdy Amanmyradov, as well as teachers and masters of the institute.
At the conference, issues related to the successful implementation of the priority tasks identified in the Program of Socio-Economic Development of Turkmenistan and Investments in 2024, as well as the Work and Event Plan in the main areas of activity of the Khalk Maslakhaty, scheduled for implementation this year together with the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, ministries, sectorial departments and public associations in order to implement this program.
During the meeting, along with the tasks and important directions for the development of scientific, educational, economic, financial, social, industrial and other spheres, the speakers also noted priority tasks related to the legislative system. The scientists who took part in the conference emphasized the importance of developing research, a thorough and effective study of «artificial intelligence», creating and developing new methods of doing business and trade from the point of view of science, industry, as well as the preparation of relevant regulations in this area.
