A delegation from Turkmenistan is to participate in the United Nations forum in New York
Turkmen delegation is to participate in high-level political forum of the UN Economic and Social Council in July, which will take place in New York. It was announced at the recent meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan. This significant development highlights Turkmenistan's commitment to international cooperation and engagement in global affairs. During the forum presentation of the city of Arkadag will be held in collaboration with the United Nations Human Settlements Program (UN-Habitat), the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP), the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE), and the UN Resident Coordinator's Office in Turkmenistan. As is known, the city of Arkadag, whose construction was launched in 2019 at the initiative of our Hero Arkadag, has become one of the brightest manifestations of the dynamic development of Turkmenistan. Its construction is carried out on the basis of advanced methods of architecture and urban planning, using the standards of “smart” cities, “green” technologies and in accordance with high environmental standards. Turkmenistan's participation in the UN forum clearly testifies its dedication to progress and achieving sustainable development goals. By actively engaging in these global discussions, Turkmenistan showcase its determination to create a better future and contribute to the global agenda of sustainable development.
