Online meeting on Centre International de Formation Européenne (CIFE)
On March 19, 2024, an online meeting, to foster collaboration in science and education with other nations, was conducted by the lectures of CIFE, Kristina Patterson and Camilla Roffin, dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the establishment of Centre international de formation européenne (CIFE), with the participation of the teachers of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, as well as the higher education institutions of Turkmenistan.
At the commencement of the conference, speakers initiated a concise introductory segment, highlighting the extensive geographic reach and diverse academic programs that exemplify CIFE's unwavering commitments. These commitments encompass a resolute, forward-thinking vision of Europe, an innovative approach to education, and a profound understanding of the challenges posed by a rapidly evolving world.
Furthermore, they underscored the cutting-edge pedagogical approaches, including practical workshops that equip students with the requisite abilities and competencies for the job market, such as negotiation, cross-cultural awareness, project management, and public speaking.
CIFE, established in 1954, is a prestigious European institution dedicated to higher education and research. CIFE has its head office in Nice (France) and branch offices in Berlin (Germany), Brussels (Belgium) and Istanbul (Turkey). As a not-for-profit organization, CIFE is committed to fostering European integration and governance, promoting multilingualism, and facilitating student mobility. CIFE's educational and research initiatives are designed to prepare European and international students for careers as Policy Officers within European institutions and international organizations.
